SAJIDA FOUNDATION is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Officer (WASH4UP) to join their WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene) team in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Key responsibilities (summary): Assess community needs to ensure that the WASH component is delivered effectively and efficiently. Identify and prioritize intervention locations through needs assessments and field visits. Ensure strong partnerships with government counterparts, local authorities, and community stakeholders for WASH management. Support the Project Manager to meet donor obligations and ensure timely delivery of project outputs. Produce and maintain accurate beneficiary records and participate in community mobilization efforts. Sensitize and mobilize communities about project objectives and participate in project activities. Contribute to internal and external reporting, including situation and donor reports. Disseminate project briefs, lessons learned and best practices to stakeholders. Represent the organization externally and coordinate community user groups, including formation of WASH committees. Assist in development and implementation of training programs, schedules, and training modules. Oversee WASH activities, ensure quality of implementation, and report progress regularly to the project manager. Perform any other tasks assigned by project authority relevant to project success. Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in NGO, social development or WASH sector programming.
