Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a project team and provide professional and technical support to project staff and stakeholders of the Ashshash project.
  • Overall management of project implementation and activities based on the operational plan to achieve project targets on time.
  • Ensure that project activities are implemented in time complying with donor requirements.
  • Day-to-day supervise and monitor the activities of project team including social services, economic empowerment, finance and monitoring.
  • Coordinate the overall case management (identification to reintegration) system of Ashshash.
  • Ensure social protection services to each survivor through need assessment, psychosocial counselling, health and legal support.
  • Secure economic empowerment support to each survivor through career counselling, soft skills, skills development, certification, entrepreneurship training and employment including wage and self-employment with follow-up support.
  • Ensure private sector engagement through partnerships for sustainable wage and self-employment of beneficiaries.
  • Coordinate with government and non-government service providing organizations to ensure services through referral.
  • Coordinate with Government, Local Government, counterparts, donors, NGOs and other stakeholders and projects.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual narrative reports, financial reports and variance reports.
  • Develop and implement procurement plans and provide accurate and timely audit responses.
  • Actively manage baseline, mid-line and final evaluations considering Winrock’s and donor's requirements.
  • Attend regular government and coordination meetings in working districts.
  • Monitor survivors' progress through regular field visits using a prescribed schedule.
  • Monitor program components at field level including training, workshops and meetings and provide feedback.
  • Organize performance appraisal of staff and design/implement staff development plans.
  • Set up and maintain files to ensure all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
  • Manage survivors’ database and Ashshash MIS with required data in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain liaison with local administration, law enforcing agencies, courts and networks related to human trafficking issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of project documents and organizational regulations and ensure their implementation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

In partnership with Winrock International and funded by the Embassy of Switzerland, the Ashshash (Phase–II) project focuses on the psychosocial and economic reintegration of survivors of human trafficking. The project delivers individualized services including psychosocial counselling, social and legal support, skills and entrepreneurship training, and economic empowerment activities.Position summaryThe Project Manager (PM) will lead WARBE’s Ashshash operations in the assigned districts, ensuring effective implementation of program activities, donor compliance, high-quality case management and coordination with public and private service providers.
