Job Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and management of project operations across CHT districts ensuring efficiency and compliance with Helen Keller Intl policies.
  • Maintain administrative systems for logistics, procurement, asset management and recordkeeping.
  • Support district offices with travel arrangements, office maintenance and staff administration.
  • Develop and monitor operations plans and SOPs reflecting organizational policies and local contexts.
  • Coordinate logistics and supply chain support between Dhaka operations and district teams for program activities.
  • Lead procurement planning and execution aligned with work plan and budget and ensure transparent vendor management.
  • Oversee inventory tracking, asset registers, distribution systems and vendor performance monitoring.
  • Support budget execution and financial monitoring; review partner financial reports and ensure compliance.
  • Manage petty cash, expense reporting, liquidations and facilitate internal/external audits.
  • Coordinate HR functions: recruitment support, contract management, attendance and leave management at district level.
  • Ensure safeguarding, gender equity and security policy compliance across project operations.
  • Manage fleet resources, vehicle maintenance, logbooks and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Contribute operational and financial inputs to monthly and quarterly reports and support management meetings.

Overview: Helen Keller Intl (HKI) is recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to oversee operational, administrative, financial, and logistical management for a time-limited project in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) of Bangladesh.
