Job Responsibilities
- Prepare design briefs and drive styles development from concept to finished product
- Create sketches, tech packs, and sample instructions for woven bottoms and denim jeans
- Collaborate with pattern makers, merchandisers, production and QC teams to ensure producibility
- Conduct fittings, review prototypes and provide corrective feedback
- Manage design timelines and ensure timely sample approvals
- Select appropriate fabrics, trims and recommend cost-efficient solutions
- Maintain documentation of design files, revisions and sample records
- Adhere to company policies during probation and after confirmation
Required Skills
- Garment construction and fit knowledge (especially woven bottoms and denim)
- Tech pack preparation and specification writing
- Sketching and design visualization

Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed design briefs and drive styles development from concept to finished product. Create and present seasonal concepts, sketches, tech packs, and sample instructions tailored for woven bottoms and denim jeans. Collaborate closely with pattern makers, merchandisers, production, and quality teams to ensure designs are production-friendly and meet buyers’ specifications. Conduct fittings and reviews of prototypes, provide clear corrective feedback, and ensure final garments meet quality and fit standards. Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor products, and raw material innovations relevant to woven bottom categories. Manage design timelines and ensure on-time sample approval for bulk production. Participate in fabric and trim selection and cost-efficient design decisions while keeping buyer requirements and price targets in mind. Comply with company policies during the probation and thereafter, and maintain professional documentation of design files and revisions. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Engineering, Textile Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Practical experience in designing woven bottoms and denim jeans for export markets is highly preferred. Strong sketching, garment construction knowledge, and tech pack preparation skills. Familiarity with pattern making, grading, fit session procedures, and production constraints. Proficiency in CAD tools for fashion (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or specialized garment design software) is an advantage. Effective communication and teamwork skills; able to liaise with international buyers and internal production teams. Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple styles, and adapt to buyer-driven changes. Age preference: 23 to 35 years (as noted in the circular).
