This circular is open to male, female and others (M, F, O).Key responsibilities:Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for complex data extraction, transformation and analysis across multiple databases (SAP HANA, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).Design, automate and manage dynamic dashboards and reports using BI tools such as SAP BI, Oracle BI, and Power BI, ensuring data visualizations support key business decisions.Perform data modeling, data normalization and relationship mapping; manage data archiving and historical data retention to ensure database optimization and integrity.Develop, maintain and monitor ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to facilitate seamless data integration between various source systems and the BI environment.Leverage advanced Excel capabilities (Power Query, PivotTables, VBA macros, complex formulas) to consolidate, analyze and visualize large datasets for operational and strategic reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT) to gather requirements, translate business needs into actionable insights, and support sales forecasting, budgeting and performance evaluation.Required skills and experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT) or a related field.Minimum 2 years of practical experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or similar roles — experience in pharmaceutical/medicine companies preferred.Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, stored procedures) and ETL development; solid understanding of RDBMS and data warehousing concepts.Hands-on experience with one or more database platforms: SAP HANA, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.Experience developing BI reports and dashboards using SAP BI, Oracle BI, Power BI; familiarity with Qlik Sense or Tableau is a plus.Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, PivotTables, complex formulas and basic VBA macros.Knowledge of data modeling, data normalization and data archiving best practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to data accuracy and quality, and effective cross-functional collaboration skills.Knowledge of SAP ABAP is an advantage but not mandatory.Education & eligibility:B.Sc. (Hons.) in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology, or related discipline.Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in BI/data analytics; pharmaceutical sector experience preferred.Location & nature of job: Head Office, Dhaka (On-site).
