Job Responsibilities
- Assist Manager, finishing in developing and executing a workflow plan that reflects the demand forecast.
- Assist Manager in Finishing Production schedules to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Follow all finishing parameters and conduct shift-wise production & quality checking as required.
- Set and ensure the regular finishing program.
- Ensure the department’s equipment is maintained to optimal levels of operation.
- Direct the Finishing supervisors responsible for managing and operating the Finishing Department within the Complex.
- Direct finishing production activities to assure that products are produced within the established cost control and quality standards.
- Control finishing operation costs within approved budgets by evaluating actual expenditures with budgeted costs, taking appropriate action if necessary to accurately project operation expenses.
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance activities in the workplace.
- Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
- Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.

Role summary: As an Executive in Dyeing & Finishing you will assist the Finishing Manager in scheduling, supervising shift-wise finishing production, enforcing finishing parameters, ensuring equipment maintenance, cost control and upholding quality, safety and housekeeping standards across the finishing line. Control finishing operation costs within approved budgets by evaluating actual expenditures versus budgeted costs. Ensure safety, quality, and compliance activities in the workplace, maintaining a clean and tidy site. Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time by the management. Required skills and experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in garments and textile finishing operations. Practical knowledge of dyeing and finishing processes for knit garments. Sound knowledge of production processes, costing, material handling, floor management and manpower/machine management. Strong planning, organizing and coordination skills; goal-oriented and adaptable to dynamic work environments. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP considered an added advantage. Good communication skills and ability to direct supervisory staff on the shop floor. Preferred education: Preference will be given to students and graduates from BGMEA University of Fashion Technology, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology, and Bangladesh University of Textiles.
