Key responsibilities (what you will do): Site Supervision: Monitor and supervise construction activities on-site to ensure work progresses in accordance with the project plan, drawings, and specifications. Project Planning & Execution: Prepare work schedules, sequence construction activities, and ensure timely execution within budget and timelines. Interpretation of Drawings & Designs: Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to guide on-site construction teams. Material Estimation & Procurement: Estimate quantities and types of materials required and coordinate timely procurement to avoid delays. Quality Control: Ensure materials and workmanship meet company quality standards and project specifications. Coordination with Stakeholders: Communicate and coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for smooth execution. Safety Assurance: Implement and monitor site safety measures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting milestones, issues, and corrective actions. Problem Solving: Rapidly identify on-site issues and implement practical and effective solutions to avoid delays. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that construction activities comply with local building codes, regulations, and legal requirements. Required qualifications & skills: Education: Diploma or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering. Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in architecture firms or interior design-related projects is a plus. Technical skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and site management tools and practices. Communication: Good communication skills in both English and Bangla to coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team.
