Job Responsibilities
- Record, maintain, and manage the company’s day-to-day financial transactions accurately and timely.
- Conduct regular reconciliation of bank accounts and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
- Maintain proper records of sales, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and general ledger.
- Prepare and maintain accounting records related to raw materials and finished goods for factory operations.
- Be proficient in using the company’s accounting software for all financial and reporting activities.
- Prepare and submit all VAT & Tax returns, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT, Tax, and related financial laws applicable to the company.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, audit documentation, and other reports as required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management as necessary.

Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience; 4 to 5 years preferred, ideally in a manufacturing or factory accounting environment. Skills and competencies Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and bookkeeping practices. Expertise in VAT & Tax calculation, filing, and statutory compliance in Bangladesh. Proficiency with accounting software (experience with proprietary systems is a plus) and MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience in bank reconciliation, cash management, AR/AP processing, and ledger maintenance. Familiarity with inventory accounting, raw materials and finished goods valuation, and factory accounting systems. High attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
