Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SBCC strategies and tools tailored to community needs for NCD prevention and control.
  • Coordinate with BRAC Health Educators, Programme Organisers and Shasthya Kormi to ensure consistent messaging and materials.
  • Conduct formative assessments to identify behaviour change barriers and enablers in the local context.
  • Lead the development of culturally appropriate IEC and BCC materials on NCD risk factors and healthy behaviours.
  • Organize and facilitate community campaigns, dialogues, and health events to raise awareness.
  • Build the SBCC capacity of field teams through training and on-site mentoring.
  • Monitor and evaluate SBCC interventions and document success stories, lessons learned and community feedback.
  • Collaborate with government and partner organizations to align messaging and ensure outreach consistency.
  • Ensure all messages are aligned with national NCD guidelines and public health communication standards.
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities to protect participants and team members from harm, abuse and exploitation.

Relevant professional training in SBCC, health promotion or behaviour change communication will be an advantage.Job nature, workplace and salary: This is a contractual job based at an office location in Dhaka.
