Handle buyer communications and liaise with the liaison office, factory personnel and cross-functional departments of the company. Coordinate with factory teams to provide timely guidance to production and quality teams regarding fabric, production and quality issues. Act as an experienced troubleshooter for related technical issues and provide practical solutions to production or quality bottlenecks. Lead and support the merchandising team, ensuring adherence to company and buyer Codes of Conduct (COC), manage fabric & trim booking and follow up on shipments. Detailed responsibilities (expanded) Manage end-to-end merchandising tasks: sourcing, negotiation, order placement, follow-up and confirmation. Maintain and manage buyer relations through clear, timely and accurate communication. Monitor fabric and trim booking, ensure material availability and track lead-times to meet shipment deadlines. Coordinate technical discussions with quality and production teams to resolve fit, fabric and production-related problems. Ensure compliance with buyer COC and company policies; support compliance audits and corrective actions. Provide training and leadership to junior merchandising staff and escalate issues to senior management when needed. Required skills and experience Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology (required). At least 6 years of relevant experience in the garments industry (merchandising, sourcing or production coordination). Strong buyer communication skills and experience in compliance management. Experience with market analysis, purchasing processes and supplier coordination. Proven troubleshooting capability for technical and production-related issues.
