Job Responsibilities
- Manage and process field-collected data; review and maintain data quality and database updates.
- Monitor servers and PCs; troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance engineers, programmers and central IT officers to resolve technical problems.
- Install software, configure systems, and perform periodic updates at field offices.
- Set up and maintain networks at regional/district/upazila server stations and monitor user management.
- Perform regular database backups and ensure secure storage of backup media.
- Provide technical support for biometric (iris and fingerprint) data capture and updates.
- Supervise data entry control supervisors and support data entry teams during voter list updates.
- Train and provide technical assistance to data entry operators, proofreaders and team leaders.

ProAms Business Consultant invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Maintenance Engineer (সহকারী মেইনটেন্যান্স ইঞ্জিনিয়ার) for the Identification System For Enhancing Access to Services (IDEA) project (2nd Phase) implemented under the Election Commission Secretariat. This job circular seeks experienced IT maintenance personnel to support database administration, server and network maintenance, hardware and software troubleshooting, and related field and regional coordination.This job is project-based and contractual in nature. Candidates selected will work as outsourced staff for the duration of the project and will collaborate closely with sub-project directors, regional programmers, IT consultants and field staff to ensure continuous citizen services across districts and upazilas.
