Job Responsibilities
- Browse newspaper, e-GP and other websites for upcoming and potential tenders.
- Excellent knowledge in computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Internet, e-GP, E-mail, Scanning etc.).
- Preparation & submission of all types of local, international & e-GP tenders.
- Preparation of all types of RFQ/RFP/Offer/Quotation/EOI/Enlistment.
- Liaison with engineering team for pricing of BOQ/RFQ/RFP/Offer/Quotation.
- Purchase, download & prepare checklist of tenders (Manual, e-GP & e-Tender).
- Follow up and maintain data on upcoming & submitted tenders.
- Prepare any kind of deed of agreement relating to tender and other matters.
- Prepare & keep records of BG/PG/APG/PO/Retention Money/Security Money relating to tender & bank.
- Issue letters for submission & refund of BG/PG/APG/PO/Retention Money/Security Money relating to tender & bank.
- Daily check all e-GP account & e-mail correspondence with clients & other sources.
- Follow up the project until receiving the cheque after acceptance of NOA.
- Write letters in English & Bangla and maintain good typing speed in both languages.

Pacific Maintenance & Engineering Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Resident Tender Officer to join their team in Dhaka. Key responsibilities and day-to-day duties include: Browse newspapers, e-GP portals, and other sources to identify upcoming and potential tenders and maintain a tracker for opportunities. Prepare and submit local, international, and e-GP tenders, ensuring compliance with tender instructions and submission checklists. Prepare RFQ, RFP, offers, quotations, EOI documents and enlistment paperwork, and maintain organized records. Coordinate with engineering and estimating teams to price BOQs, RFQs and other pricing documents accurately. Purchase and download tender documents, create submission checklists for manual, e-GP and e-tenders, and ensure timely submissions. Follow up on submitted tenders and maintain data on the status of upcoming and submitted tenders. Prepare deeds of agreement, and documentation related to bank guarantees (BG/PG/APG), performance guarantees, retention/security monies and corresponding correspondence for submission and refunds. Maintain daily checks of e-GP accounts and manage e-mail correspondence with clients and stakeholders. Follow up on awarded notices (NOA) and relevant acceptance procedures until receipt of payment/cheque. Draft professional letters in English and Bangla; demonstrate good typing speed in both languages. Required skills and qualifications: Minimum Bachelor/Honours degree — acceptable disciplines listed include BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in tender submission (including e-GP), RFQ and LTM experience preferred. Strong computer literacy: MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop (basic), internet, e-GP systems, e-mail and scanning. Proven experience in tender documentation, tender preparation and tender processing. Ability to work under pressure and long hours; frequent travel within Dhaka may be required.
