Guide and supervise CAD detailers in the drafting process, and prepare and review structural drawings. Provide top supervision to ensure the quality of structural works as per design and specifications. Check and validate test results of construction materials and ensure compliance with specifications. Lead and manage the Structural team, provide mentorship, and drive professional development. Report on structural design milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues to leadership. Devise new approaches to technical problems and prepare or modify drawings and specifications as required. Detailed responsibilities (expanded): Carry out detailed structural modeling and analysis using industry-standard tools and ensure robustness of design assumptions. Ensure designs adhere to BNBC, ACI and relevant Bangladesh codes and international best practices. Coordinate cross-disciplinary inputs to finalize load paths, lateral systems, and foundation strategies for buildings. Perform peer reviews and quality checks of structural drawings, calculations, and shop drawings produced by the team. Oversee testing and inspection results for concrete, steel and other materials and incorporate findings into design decisions. Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and reliability in calculations and drawings. Lead status reporting, highlight critical dependencies and escalate issues to project leadership in a timely manner. Required skills and qualifications: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in structural design, preferably within the real estate and construction sector. Proven design experience with both RCC and steel structures. Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design software such as ETABS and STAAD-Pro. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to coordinate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
