Rancon Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Inventory to join its operations team in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Key responsibilities (summary): Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished products in designated locations to align with production and business needs. Control and maintain inventory levels through periodic physical counts and reconciliation against the inventory system. Manage equipment upkeep by generating work orders for repairs and initiating requisitions for necessary replacements. Ensure safe and efficient handling of warehouse materials to meet business and customer demands while improving storage layouts and processes. Guarantee storage of vehicles, finished products, and spare parts complies with GMP guidelines and recognized industry best practices. Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to reduce stock discrepancies, shrinkage, and lead times. Detailed responsibilities & expectations: Lead day-to-day inventory control activities and supervise inventory staff to maintain accuracy in stock records. Plan, schedule and execute regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; develop corrective actions where variances arise. Implement storage and layout improvements to maximize space utilization and ensure safe material handling. Create and maintain SOPs for warehouse processes in alignment with GMP and company policies. Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, fill rate, on-time dispatch, and stock turnover; report progress to management. Identify improvement opportunities in inventory systems, suggest automation and process improvements, and assist in system integration projects. Required skills and qualifications: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent relevant degree. 3 to 6 years of experience in inventory control, inventory management, store/inventory management — preferably within Manufacturing (FMCG), Tobacco, Automobile, or Transport Service. Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and warehouse safety practices. Good understanding of GMP and industry best practices for storage of finished goods and spare parts. Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis. Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and team leadership orientation.
