Job Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for sponsors and partners, nurturing relationships through regular communication.
- Keep sponsors informed about the progress and well-being of the children under their support.
- Collaborate with the program team to ensure updates about children are timely and accurate.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve fundraising and sponsor engagement goals.
- Attend events and engage with sponsors to enhance their connection with the organization.
- Provide regular progress reports to the reporting manager regarding fundraising and sponsor engagement.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sponsor database and CRM.
- Contribute insights to the organization’s broader fundraising strategy based on sponsor feedback and industry trends.
- Identify potential opportunities and communicate them to appropriate team members for follow-up.
- Address sponsor concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct sponsor satisfaction surveys and recommend improvements.

As an Officer in the Child Welfare Department you will support fundraising objectives while ensuring transparency and strong sponsor satisfaction.Key responsibilitiesServe as the primary liaison for sponsors and partners, maintaining regular, professional and empathetic communication to nurture long-term relationships.Provide timely and accurate updates about sponsored children, including progress reports and wellbeing summaries.Collaborate closely with program teams to gather child-related information and ensure updates are consistent, accurate and delivered on schedule.Develop and implement strategies to meet fundraising and sponsor engagement goals.Represent the organization at events to strengthen sponsor connection and participation.Maintain and update sponsor databases and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems with high accuracy.Prepare regular progress reports for management on fundraising performance and sponsor interactions.Conduct sponsor satisfaction surveys, address concerns promptly, and propose improvements to increase donor retention.Identify new sponsorship or fundraising opportunities and coordinate follow-up with relevant teams.Resolve sponsor inquiries and issues effectively, escalating when necessary.Required qualifications and educationMinimum education: Bachelor/Honors. A Master’s degree is preferred.Proven experience: 2-3 years in customer management, client servicing, donor relations or a related field.Skills and competenciesExcellent written and verbal communication in English and strong interpersonal skills.Experience with database management and CRM systems; attention to detail in data entry and reporting.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and deliver tasks on time.Empathy, active listening, and the ability to build trust with sponsors and partners.Team player who can also work independently; problem-solving mindset and initiative-oriented.Relevant suggested skills: Child Protection Case Management, Client Management, Customer Relationship Management, Project Management.BenefitsTravel allowance (T/A).Weekly 2 holidays.Provident fund.Salary review annually.Festival bonus (2 occasions per year).Location & working conditionThe position is office-based in Dhaka (Work at office).
