Job Responsibilities
- Lead new product development from ideation to market launch, ensuring alignment with nutrition, taste and cost objectives.
- Conduct hands-on formulation, prototyping, sensory evaluation, documentation and development logs.
- Ensure product concepts are relevant to mothers and children through market research and consumer insights.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Production, QA and Regulatory for scalability and manufacturing feasibility.
- Assist in drafting technical documents, SOPs, product specifications and support factory trials and technology transfer.
- Monitor food trends, ingredients and technologies to drive continuous innovation.
- Conduct shelf-life testing, stability trials and cost-benefit analysis for new and existing products.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during development and production runs.
- Identify opportunities for raw material substitution, yield improvement and process optimization.
- Work closely with Procurement and Production to optimize BOM and reduce COGS.
- Manage multiple R&D projects, timelines, resources and coach junior team members.
- Support regulatory submissions and ensure compliance with BSTI, CODEX and HALAL standards.
