Job Responsibilities
- Conduct time and motion studies to fix operation-wise SMV.
- Proper line balancing, identify bottlenecks, and support line supervisors with corrective actions.
- Set operation-wise production targets, prove capacity, and make Yamazumi Chart and handover the capacity to production team.
- Prepare operation bulletins, machine layouts, and manpower planning for each style.
- Reduce rework, delay, and unnecessary handling through process improvement or method changes.
- Estimate machine requirements, operator needs, and line setup for new and bulk styles.
- Ensure Quick Changeover (QCO) targets are achieved by preparing pre-activities early during style changeover.
- Ensure correct operator allocation based on skill, layout, and style needs.
- Minimize idle time and improve operator and line efficiency.
- Maintain smooth workflow across all sections with balanced WIP.
- Monitor hourly and daily production and match with set targets.
- Track daily efficiency, output, NPT, and WIP status.
- Maintain skill matrix of operators for all operations and identify skill gaps.
- Suggest training for multi-skilling and skill upgrading.
- Work closely with production, quality, and planning teams to ensure smooth operation flow.
- Ensure industrial engineering practices by maintaining quality and technical standards.

Practical experience in conducting time & motion studies, line balancing, capacity proving, and Yamazumi chart creation. Ability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and define corrective actions. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools (6S, Kaizen). Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in preparing reports, operation bulletins and doing manpower & machine requirement estimations. Education & experience: Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
