Job Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute zone-specific sales strategies and annual plans in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of local and international commodity markets, including pricing trends, competitor activities, and supply-demand dynamics, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Advise on pricing strategies, volume planning, product portfolio optimization, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Lead, oversee, and enhance daily sales and marketing operations to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Develop, appoint, and manage a robust network of dealers, distributors, and bulk buyers to expand market reach and increase sales volume.
  • Identify and cultivate new bulk business opportunities, including institutional clients and strategic accounts.
  • Ensure strict adherence to cash sales protocols, credit policies, and company sales guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with distribution, warehouse, and logistics teams to guarantee timely and accurate product delivery.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare detailed forecasts, MIS reports, and analytical insights for senior management review.
  • Organize and lead monthly sales meetings and performance review conferences.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required experience & education Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in bulk/commodity sales and marketing; 15–20 years is preferred. Proven background in Trading or Export/Import, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Direct Selling/Marketing Service companies, agro-based startups, or auto rice mill operations. Bachelor/Honors degree required; MBA preferred. MBA in Marketing is highly preferred. Skills & attributes Strong strategic and analytical thinking with sharp commercial acumen. Exceptional leadership, team management and stakeholder negotiation skills. Experience building and managing dealer/distributor networks and large-volume institutional accounts. Good forecasting, MIS and reporting capabilities. Willingness to relocate and work anywhere in Bangladesh; strong local market knowledge. Compensation & benefits Salary: Negotiable.
