Job Responsibilities
- Perform fabric and garment tests as per Buyer Method/ISO/AATCC/ASTM standards
- Prepare and review test reports accurately and on time
- Manage samples — receiving, tagging, testing, and record keeping
- Review test results to ensure they meet buyer requirements and highlight any deviations immediately
- Communicate test results and highlight any quality issues to the relevant departments
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and buyer verification
- Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
- Operate and ensure calibration and maintenance of lab instruments and equipment
- Support internal and external audits and accreditation processes (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025)
- Take corrective/preventive actions for testing failures or non-conformities
Required Skills
