Job Responsibilities
- Support annual and quarterly planning for Agri Modern Village interventions and develop village micro-plans.
- Develop and manage branch/cluster-level budgets and procurement planning following BRAC financial guidelines.
- Lead and supervise implementation of agriculture, livestock, poultry and aquaculture interventions in the field.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of inputs, technologies, training and services to farmers.
- Monitor production performance and provide field-based technical guidance adhering to climate-smart practices.
- Provide training on business planning, record keeping, service quality and market linkages.
- Facilitate access to finance, technology and private sector networks to improve enterprise sustainability.
- Promote post-harvest handling, grading, packaging and primary processing; facilitate market linkages.
- Document local innovations, conduct field assessments, beneficiary verification and feasibility studies.
- Maintain compliance with programme standards, procurement rules and safeguarding protocols; report safeguarding concerns.

Read the circular carefully and prepare your application to apply through the online channel if eligible.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport annual and quarterly planning for Agri Modern Village (AMV) interventions and develop detailed micro-plans for village-level activities.Plan interventions across crops, livestock, aquaculture, agri-mechanization, input support and livelihood diversification.Prepare and manage branch/cluster-level budgets; ensure cost efficiency and compliance with BRAC financial guidelines.Lead and supervise day-to-day implementation of agriculture, livestock, poultry, and aquaculture activities and ensure timely delivery of inputs, technologies and services.Monitor crop, livestock, poultry, and aquaculture performance and provide on-site technical guidance using climate-smart and sustainable production practices.Provide training on business planning, record-keeping, service quality and market linkage; facilitate access to finance and private sector networks.Promote primary processing, post-harvest handling, storage, grading and packaging; facilitate linkage with traders and processors for better price realization.Document local innovations, conduct field assessments, beneficiary verification and feasibility for new interventions; maintain programme compliance and safeguarding standards.Ensure regular reporting, MIS updates and documentation of progress and challenges to programme management.Safeguarding ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safety of team members, beneficiaries and community participants from harm, abuse or exploitation.Promote safeguarding principles in all field activities and adhere strictly to BRAC’s safeguarding policy.Report safeguarding concerns through approved reporting channels and encourage reporting by others.Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducational: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Agriculture, Animal Science, Fisheries, Agri-mechanization or a related field.Experience: At least 2 years of relevant field experience in agriculture, livestock, poultry, aquaculture, agri-mechanization or enterprise development. Experience in rural development, extension services or market systems is a plus.Language & Eligibility: Position is open for Bangladeshi nationals only.
