Job Responsibilities
- Handle merchandising functions independently and work with merchandising team across client/customer accounts from yarn/fabric consumption to final inspection and shipment.
- Coordinate with commercial/export documentation teams for procurement-related documentation for raw materials, yarns, fabrics, accessories and trims.
- Provide daily integrated merchandise status updates to management and facilitate merchandising functions across teams.
- Coordinate with production and production planning to ensure timely sample development and delivery of materials according to time & action plans.
- Schedule and supervise time & action plans for sample section programs and conduct independent inspections of sample garments before submission to buyers.
- Plan and sequence sampling requirements from different manufacturing units, maintaining date-wise priority.
- Perform style-wise critical path analysis to support interrelated departments and ensure on-time shipment schedules.
- Communicate with buyers regarding merchandising activities and approvals and ensure monitoring of product shipments.
