Key responsibilities (summary) Develop, update and ensure execution of a risk-based audit plan aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Conduct management system audits, operational audits and internal financial audits across business units. Follow up on audit recommendations and ensure timely management action; regularly update management on progress. Serve as an advisory partner to management on policy implementation, compliance governance and internal control improvements. Promote a culture of transparency, ethical behavior and result-oriented performance across departments. Provide leadership to the assurance team, mentor staff and ensure high quality audit deliverables. Detailed responsibilities (expanded) Prepare annual and continuous audit plans based on risk assessments; monitor implementation and adapt plans to emerging risks. Execute and supervise internal audits across manufacturing (FMCG), garments, textile, accessories, and related operations. Assess financial controls, inventory and supply chain processes, compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Report audit findings and recommendations clearly and follow up with management to ensure corrective actions are implemented. Provide advisory input for new policy roll-outs, operational improvements and control redesigns. Establish KPIs for the assurance function and deliver regular status reports to the board/executive management. Required skills & qualifications Education: Master of Business Studies (MBS) or Master of Commerce (MCom). Experience: At least 15 years of relevant experience with minimum 2 years in the same position; experience in internal audit within large groups and the apparel industry is highly preferred. Core skills: Internal Audit, Compliance, Accounting, Financial Audit, Risk Assessment, Operational Audit. Additional competencies: Strong analytical ability, leadership, strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, proactive attitude and positive work ethics. Preferred background Experience across Manufacturing (FMCG), Garments, Textile, Group of Companies, Garments Accessories is desirable.
