Job Responsibilities
- Mobilize local communities to engage in CBR activities and outreach programs.
- Implement measures within the CBR matrix to empower persons with disabilities.
- Conduct home visits and provide training to enhance skills and participation.
- Develop and complete Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRPs) aligned with ICF.
- Identify, refer and follow up children and youth with disabilities to appropriate services.
- Coordinate with local government, NGOs, and service providers to organize medical camps and support services.
- Provide social support and awareness on ENT and mental health issues.
- Encourage inclusive livelihood opportunities and undertake local resource mobilization.
- Supervise daily activities of CBR workers and report on program activities.
- Assist individuals in obtaining disability ID cards and educational stipends.
- Maintain accurate data collection, reporting and documentation.

OverviewSANGRAM is seeking a committed and experienced Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Officer to join its team in Patharghata, Barguna. This job offers an opportunity to work with a respected non-governmental company that has been serving vulnerable communities in Barisal division since 1985. The successful candidate will work directly with children and youth with disabilities and their families to promote inclusion, rehabilitation, and empowerment.
