Job Responsibilities
- Develop a yearly training calendar for project and community-level accessible venues.
- Identify children with disabilities, their parents, health workers, community leaders, and local government representatives for capacity-building initiatives.
- Ensure training is conducted in accessible venues with reasonable accommodations.
- Conduct safeguarding risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure training methods and materials are accessible and inclusive.
- Conduct pre- and post-training assessments and provide follow-up support.
- Compile training reports in prescribed formats (monthly, bi-monthly, half-yearly, annual).
- Contribute to development of training materials and provide training to organizations on disability and development at community level.
- Plan, implement and monitor safe training programs with identification of children and youth with disabilities.
- Adhere to Do No Harm principles throughout the program management cycle.
- Promote awareness and understanding of disability rights and inclusion in communities.
- Collect monitoring data, success stories and lessons learned and report to Project Coordinator.
