Job Responsibilities
- Develop and formulate new beverage products (including fruit drinks, electrolyte drinks, isotonic drinks, flavored drinks and functional beverages) from concept to commercialization.
- Optimize ingredient combinations, flavor profiles, texture, color, and shelf-life to meet quality and cost objectives.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve manufacturing processes for better efficiency, product consistency, and safety.
- Ensure all beverage formulations and packaging comply with BSTI, BFSA regulations, labeling requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Conduct sensory evaluations, stability testing, and shelf-life studies and analyze data to guide formulation decisions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to innovate and improve offerings.
- Maintain detailed records of formulations, trials, specifications, and test results.
- Work closely with marketing, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth product development and launch.

Maintain detailed records of formulations, trials, specifications, and test results to support reproducibility and regulatory submission. Monitor industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products to inform innovation roadmaps. Required skills & experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field. 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing (FMCG), food (packaged), or beverage categories, with demonstrated product development achievements. Hands-on experience in beverage formulation, ingredient function, stability evaluation, and sensory testing. Strong knowledge of food safety, regulatory frameworks (BSTI, BFSA) and labeling requirements in Bangladesh. Proven ability to collaborate with production, QA/QC, procurement, and marketing teams to drive commercialization. Analytical mindset with experience interpreting stability and shelf-life test data. Excellent documentation skills and the ability to maintain clear records of trials and specifications.
