Job Responsibilities

  • Update, manage, and renew all legal licenses and regulatory documents within required timelines for garments and textile factories.

Draft, prepare and review legal documents, agreements and estate-related papers in both Bangla and English with accuracy and professionalism. Assist in preparing, reviewing and filing various tax documents; coordinate with external legal advisors, auditors and government authorities when required. Coordinate corporate affairs tasks including trade license and license management, VAT law matters and other regulatory compliance activities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and management to support departmental objectives and perform other tasks as assigned. Required skills & experience: LLB or LLM degree (or BA/MA in Law) from a reputed university — strong academic record preferred. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Garments, Textile, Spinning or School/education-sector legal affairs. Proven experience in business license management, corporate affairs, legal drafting, license renewals and VAT law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English; high proficiency in legal drafting. Strong knowledge of Bangladeshi legal, administrative and regulatory processes. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with government authorities and external advisors. Ability and willingness to travel frequently to factory sites and government offices.
