Job Responsibilities
- Conduct household surveys and prepare beneficiary lists, muster rolls and distribution documentation.
- Facilitate FGDs, KIIs, PDM and KAP surveys and identify vulnerable beneficiaries.
- Identify and select appropriate WASH sites and supervise construction/installation work according to BOQ and design.
- Monitor hardware activities, conduct water quality tests for boreholes, DTW and STW, and maintain monitoring checklists.
- Ensure inclusive hygiene promotion and safe faecal sludge and solid waste management.
- Manage casual labour attendance, approve payments and supervise daily field operations.
- Maintain documentation, prepare monthly/interim reports and provide inputs for procurement.
- Ensure adherence to PSEA, safeguarding, CFRM and other organizational policies.
- Coordinate with community leaders (Majhi), health & wash actors and key stakeholders.
- Support seasonal and emergency response activities and travel to remote project locations as required.

Islamic Relief Bangladesh is recruiting a dedicated Field Facilitator - WASH for its Humanitarian Crisis Response programme based in Bhashanchar/Hatiya, Noakhali. This job circular invites experienced WASH practitioners to apply for a hands-on role that blends community engagement, technical monitoring, and quality assurance.
