Job Responsibilities

  • Be present at office on time and maintain regular attendance.
  • Motivate formation of different workers committees and monitor all committee activities.
  • Monitor all welfare facilities (canteen, restroom, childcare, sanitation, drinking water) and ensure worker awareness of rules.
  • Conduct training for new workers and ongoing training sessions.
  • Counsel workers and advise management to implement laws and regulations in the factory.
  • Communicate with medical officers to facilitate medical facilities for workers.
  • Write reports and maintain welfare-related documentation, including maternity benefit records.
  • Arrange workers committee meetings and prepare minutes.
  • Develop positive relations between management and workers, support health and safety management.
  • Assist in audits and monitoring related to welfare and social compliance.

Coordinate with medical officers for workers' medical facilities and follow-up. Prepare reports and maintain proper documentation, especially maternity benefit records. Arrange workers' committee meetings and prepare minutes. Provide supportive counseling and help develop workers' attitudes toward safety and productivity. Assist in internal and external audits related to welfare and compliance. Required experience & qualifications Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (2 to 3 years preferred) in garment or textile sectors. Education: BBA; MBA in HRM preferred. PGDHRM from BIM or PGD in Social Compliance is advantageous. Practical experience in well-known, reputable organizations is preferred. Sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law & Rules and welfare activities.
