Job Responsibilities
- Provide field-level technical support to fish, poultry and cattle farmers on feed use and feeding management
- Deliver product knowledge sessions and advisory services to farmers, dealers and sub-dealers
- Conduct market visits to identify farmer problems and recommend solutions
- Manage dealer and sub-dealer points to increase feed sales and perform merchandising activities
- Develop new and existing farms to generate demand
- Prepare and submit daily market activity reports
- Organize technical seminars, field visits and training sessions for farmers and dealers
- Monitor competitor products, pricing and field activities

Power Fish & Poultry Feed Ltd. is looking for a motivated and technically strong DVM / Fisheries Officer to join our field team. This is an exciting job opportunity for someone who enjoys direct farm interaction, technical advisory work, and driving feed sales growth through farm development and dealer support. The role supports fisheries, poultry and cattle producers on best practices, acts as a link between the salesforce and end-users, and helps the company achieve sales targets through improved farm performance and dealer engagement.Key responsibilitiesProvide field-level technical support to fish, poultry and cattle farmers regarding feed use, feeding management and farm operations.Deliver product knowledge sessions and consultations to farmers, dealers and sub-dealers about proper feed use and feeding management.Carry out regular market visits to identify farmer problems and propose practical, timely solutions.Drive feed sales growth at dealer and sub-dealer points through merchandising activities and technical persuasion.Develop new and existing farms to create demand generation and expand customer base.Prepare and submit daily/regular market activity reports to the company.Organize technical seminars, field visits, and training sessions for farmers and dealers.Monitor competitor products, pricing and field activities and report findings to management.Provide technical guidelines and support to the sales team to improve service delivery to farmers.Work in line with company policies and actively support the team to achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.Required qualifications & experienceEducation: Diploma in Fisheries, Diploma in Livestock or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant field experience. Preference for candidates with experience in Market Research Firms, agro-based firms (including agro processing/seed/GMO-related businesses) or poultry sector.Age & gender requirement: Preferably males aged 28 to 45 years (as per the circular).Skills & competenciesFeed marketing and technical support experience.Proven track record in feed sales and dealer management.Knowledge of fisheries, poultry and livestock production practices.Strong communication and presentation skills for farmer trainings and dealer interactions.Training and teaching skills for organizing technical seminars and field sessions.Good problem solving, reporting and market monitoring abilities.Benefits & other informationSalary range: Tk. 30,000 - 50,000 (monthly).
