Job Responsibilities
- Review and process claims for home health care services ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits for services rendered.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation.
- Resolve discrepancies or denials by communicating with families, providers, and insurance companies.
- Maintain accurate records of claims, payments, and correspondence.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports and analyses for senior management.
- Support external audits by obtaining documentation and preparing requested analysis.
- Partner with reimbursement and revenue cycle leadership to conduct price and rate analysis.
- Develop tools and analytics to perform various types of financial analysis.
- Assist with EMR inquiries, medical record keeping, and general administrative duties.
- Train and support new staff and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Participate or lead special projects as needed.
