Job Responsibilities

  • Review and process claims for home health care services ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify patient eligibility and benefits for services rendered.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation.
  • Resolve discrepancies or denials by communicating with families, providers, and insurance companies.
  • Maintain accurate records of claims, payments, and correspondence.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports and analyses for senior management.
  • Support external audits by obtaining documentation and preparing requested analysis.
  • Partner with reimbursement and revenue cycle leadership to conduct price and rate analysis.
  • Develop tools and analytics to perform various types of financial analysis.
  • Assist with EMR inquiries, medical record keeping, and general administrative duties.
  • Train and support new staff and participate in process improvement initiatives.
