Job Responsibilities

  • Lead productivity enhancement projects using Method Study, Time Study, Motion Study and Line Balancing to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Oversee the Industrial Engineering (IE) section and ensure IE techniques are applied consistently across manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare and maintain SMV database, set daily line targets, update operator skill matrices and monitor line-wise hourly output.
  • Design equipment and machine layouts, optimize workflow and safety measures to maximize plant utilization and mitigate risks.
  • Develop metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity, identify bottlenecks, and manage CAPEX plans to prevent capacity loss.
  • Implement automation and robotic systems: research, select and deploy solutions to increase productivity.
  • Drive continuous improvement, Kaizen initiatives and standardization of SOPs across factories.
  • Train line chiefs, supervisors and production officers on productivity improvement, maintain 5S and run Train-the-Trainer programs.
  • Analyze root causes of low production, defects and non-productive time and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports on KPIs and present weekly, monthly and yearly performance and improvement plans to senior management.
  • Provide marketing SMV and thread consumption data to Merchandising and other cross-functional teams.
  • Develop best practice sharing platforms and encourage adoption across the organization to standardize operating procedures.
