Job Responsibilities
- Implement institutional policies, annual plans and senior management directives at field level and ensure targets are met.
- Provide clear work plans and guidance to branch managers, area managers and staff; verify monthly target achievement.
- Maintain field presence (up to ~20 working days/month in branch(es)) and prioritize monitoring of problem branches.
- Supervise 4-5 areas within a zone and conduct regular branch visits (2-3 branches per area monthly).
- Resolve delinquency, deficits and significant branch-level issues; escalate to head office when required.
- Monitor branch expenditure, vouchers and bills for accuracy and recommend exceptional expenses to head office.
- Identify staff weaknesses and implement corrective measures and capacity building.
- Ensure loan & savings targets, portfolio quality, disbursement ceilings and timely recoveries.
- Prepare and submit timely monthly reports and audit reply documents to head office.
- Uphold gender-sensitive behavior, institutional values and perform assigned duties by senior management.
