Job Responsibilities
- Assist in developing procurement strategies and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
- Evaluate and onboard suppliers; negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.

This is a strategic role for a professional who wants to make an impact on supply chain operations within a reputed company in Bangladesh.Key responsibilities (summary)Assist in procurement strategy development and supplier onboarding; negotiate pricing, payment terms and contracts.Monitor and manage vendor performance against KPIs (quality, delivery, cost).Manage inventory levels through stock planning, cycle counts, audits and variance reconciliation.Coordinate warehouse operations, ensure proper storage (FIFO/FEFO) and accuracy of stock records.Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics; optimize freight cost and timelines with logistics partners.Support demand planning and forecasting by analyzing sales, consumption trends and lead times to maintain stock availability.Implement process improvements, support ERP/digital tool rollouts (SAP, Oracle, ERPNext, etc.) and prepare regular procurement/stock/logistics reports.Investigate and resolve shipment issues, damages, delays or discrepancies in coordination with stakeholders.Detailed responsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Management — evaluate suppliers, conduct negotiations, ensure timely purchase orders and follow-ups.Inventory & Warehouse Management — implement stock audits, reconcile variances, reduce excess and obsolete inventory.Logistics & Distribution — plan shipments, monitor transportation scheduling and liaise with third-party logistics providers.Demand Planning & Forecasting — support sales/production forecasting; identify gaps between forecast and actuals and recommend corrective actions.Process Improvement & Reporting — analyze supply chain metrics; produce reports on procurement, logistics cost and vendor performance; ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.Required skills and qualificationsBachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Supply Chain Management or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management.
