Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities (role responsibilities and daily tasks): Manage complete export processing activities for woven garments from documentation to shipment. Coordinate with bank for export-related banking activities, Letter of Credit (LC) handling, and online banking transactions related to exports. Ensure compliance with NBR and Bangladesh Bank regulations, and maintain required export records and procedures. Negotiate commercial terms, freight rates and shipment scheduling with buyers, shipping agencies, and other stakeholders. Work closely with production, QC, and logistics teams to ensure timely export execution and delivery to buyers. Use ERP and office applications (Excel, Word) for accurate reporting, record-keeping and process monitoring. Drive continuous improvement in export turnaround times and reduce documentation errors and demurrage. Required qualifications and experience: Post-graduation / Graduation in Commerce or related discipline (Masters preferred). Minimum eight (08) years of practical experience in export processing of woven garments and related business areas (Garments, Washing Factory). Strong practical knowledge of export document preparation, shipping lines, C&F, export-related banking activities, compliance processes, NBR and Bangladesh Bank formalities. Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English (verbal and written). Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel & Word). Desired skills: Export & Import operations and experience with woven garments. Knowledge of shipping liners, agencies, and handling of commercial export execution. General banking experience related to export transactions. Strong stakeholder management and buyer negotiation skills.
