Job Responsibilities
- Monitor daily ETP operation and ensure smooth functioning of Biological ETP
- Check inflow, outflow, and treatment process parameters
- Maintain pH, DO, BOD, COD, TDS, TSS, MLSS, temperature, and chemical dosing levels
- Perform regular checks, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on blowers, pumps, machines, and other ETP equipment to prevent breakdowns
- Oversee sludge management, drying, and safe disposal
- Maintain ETP logbooks, test records, and operational reports
- Maintain all DOE required environmental compliance documents
- Coordinate with DOE officials during inspections
- Basic maintenance of ETP plant

Overview: Square Toiletries Ltd. is seeking a motivated and experienced ETP Operator to join the Engineering department at our Pabna Plant. The role will require a strong focus on process control, routine maintenance, environmental record keeping, and liaison with regulatory authorities.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor daily ETP operation and ensure smooth functioning of the biological ETP system.Check inflow, outflow, and treatment process parameters regularly and act promptly on deviations.Maintain critical parameters including pH, DO, BOD, COD, TDS, TSS, MLSS, temperature, and chemical dosing levels.Perform routine checks, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on blowers, pumps, motors, and other ETP equipment to avoid breakdowns.Supervise sludge handling, drying and ensure safe disposal in line with company and regulatory practices.Maintain and update ETP logbooks, test records, operational reports and SOPs.Ensure all Department of Environment (DOE) required environmental compliance documents are prepared, maintained, and available for inspections.Coordinate with DOE officials and other regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving treatment efficiency and reducing environmental footprint.Required Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma in Environmental Technology (from a reputed institution).Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in ETP operation and maintenance (2 to 3 years preferred).Experience in the cosmetics/toiletries/personal care or similar manufacturing industry is highly desirable.Basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills relevant to pumps, blowers and associated equipment.Familiarity with environmental regulations and DOE reporting procedures applicable in Bangladesh.Skills & AttributesETP Technology — practical operation and monitoring skills.Operation & Maintenance — preventative maintenance, basic mechanical aptitude.Production/Operation Management — coordination with plant operations and good record-keeping.Problem solving, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.Other Important InformationWork Station: Pabna Plant (on-site).Job Nature: Full Time.Age: At most 28 years (age may be relaxed for experienced candidates).Gender: M, F.Training on ETP operation & maintenance will be an added advantage.How to ApplyIf you think you are the right person for this job, please submit your resume with a cover letter and a recent passport-size color photograph (not more than 6 months old) by 16th December 2025 via e-mail at rupshi.hrd@squaregroup.com.
