Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure beneficiary selection according to Islamic Relief principles and project guidelines; conduct FGDs and door-to-door surveys.
  • Develop and deploy KOBO questionnaires, perform data screening and finalize beneficiary lists.
  • Supervise WASH and small-scale infrastructure interventions including site selection, feasibility studies, scheme design and BOQ preparation.
  • Estimate costs, facilitate contractor selection and manage procurement inputs (requisition, quotation collection).
  • Monitor construction progress, ensure quality and compliance with organizational and local authority standards.
  • Support implementation of Cash for Work and other cash-based programming; manage billing and financial records.
  • Conduct technical and environmental surveys (pre and post), water quality testing and community consultations.
  • Prepare IEC materials and facilitate hygiene promotion and caretaker training sessions.
  • Ensure implementation of Complaints & Feedback Mechanisms, child protection, safeguarding and gender-sensitive measures.
  • Coordinate with local stakeholders (UDMC, local authorities) to obtain NOCs and ensure stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare weekly activity plans, reporting, documentation and support workshops and lesson-learn events.
  • Participate in seasonal programs (Ramadan, Qurbani, Winterization) and support related interventions.
  • Travel frequently to remote and coastal/flood-prone areas as required by the project.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor and ensure security of project staff and participants.
