Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (BPEd) or related field (Master’s preferred). Teaching certification/license with specialization in Physical Education preferred. Candidates from University of Dhaka, Rajshahi University, Jahangirnagar University, North South University, East West University may be given preference.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons in accordance with the PYP, MYP & DP frameworks.
- Employee must need to stay in school campus since it’s a boarding school.
- Promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and skill development across a range of sports and activities.
- Design age-appropriate, inclusive, and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education within interdisciplinary learning units according to IB curriculum.
- Provide appropriate safety instruction and make safety checks on equipment and field areas to ensure the overall safety of students.
- Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly, productive environment in the physical education areas.
- Evaluate each student’s growth in physical skills, knowledge, and contribution in team sports.
- Participate in coaching, outdoor education trips, school-wide events, and/or extracurricular activities.
- Be responsible for students’ overall improvement in academics and in other extracurricular activities.
