Job Responsibilities
- Manage full merchandising process: product development, costing, sampling, approvals, production follow-up, and shipment.
- Maintain day-to-day communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Prepare and monitor T&A plans, BOMs, cost sheets and consumption; ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate with production, planning, quality, fabric & trims teams for smooth workflow.
- Follow up on lab dips, strike-offs, fit samples, size sets and PP meetings; maintain documentation.
- Track fabric, trims and accessories status and resolve delays or shortages.
- Ensure buyer quality requirements are consistently met and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Execute price negotiations and support order confirmation with buyers.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective measures to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports: WIP, order status, sample tracking and shipment status.
- Work closely with sample section for development samples, SMS and shipment samples.
- Support management in new buyer development and sample presentations.
- Maintain professional relationships with existing buyers and keep stakeholders informed.
