Primary responsibilities (summary): Lead and manage sales activities for dyes & chemical products, including direct sales, distributor management, and key account development. Provide technical support and solution-selling during trials and production stages; collaborate with clients on trial & production know-how. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets and expand market footprint across Bangladesh. Coach and mentor sales team members, build strong commercial relationships, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Use problem-solving skills to address technical and commercial challenges and to propose effective solutions to customers. Detailed responsibilities (expanded): Drive sales initiatives for dyestuffs and specialty chemicals; identify new business opportunities and cultivate long-term client relationships. Provide technical leadership during product trials and production ramp-up, ensuring customers receive appropriate technical guidance and support. Coordinate with supply chain and production teams when necessary to meet customer requirements and deliver on time. Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and product positioning. Required education & experience: Education: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Textile Technology or M.Sc. in Chemistry from a reputed university. Experience: At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in dyes & chemical sales or 4 to 5 years of factory experience related to textile chemicals and processes. Skills & attributes: Strong technical understanding of textile dyes and chemicals, and production/trial procedures. Excellent sales acumen, negotiation and presentation skills. Problem solving, leadership and team management capabilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with customers across Bangladesh.
