Recruit, train, schedule and supervise restaurant staff (waitstaff, kitchen assistants and support staff). Conduct staff performance reviews, coaching and ongoing training to improve service and operational efficiency. Maintain high standards of customer service; address customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally. Monitor and manage operational budgets, labor costs, and food costs; implement cost control measures to support profitability. Oversee inventory levels and supply chain coordination with suppliers; implement inventory control to reduce waste. Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, sanitary environment. Collaborate with marketing teams to support promotions, customer engagement and business growth. Detailed responsibilities (expanded): Restaurant Operations Management: Plan daily operations, organize shifts, ensure service flow and manage crowd during busy hours. Financial Management: Reconcile daily takings, prepare simple financial reports, and propose measures to enhance profitability. Staff Management & Training: Prepare rosters, oversee attendance and conduct on-the-job training to uplift service standards. Inventory & Supplier Coordination: Track stock levels, place orders timely, inspect deliveries and manage expiry/waste control systems. Health & Safety Oversight: Ensure hygiene practices, conduct inspections and enforce safety procedures for staff and customers. Customer Relationship: Gather customer feedback, resolve issues and build repeat business through consistent service excellence. Required qualifications & education: Bachelor/Honours degree required. An MBA in Accounting or related field is preferred. At least 2 years of proven experience in hotel, restaurant or resort operations with supervisory responsibilities.
