Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular field visits and provide technical support to problematic units/regions to ensure program expansion and problem resolution.
  • Increase personal contact with novice entrepreneurs and unit staff to provide necessary guidance and mentorship.
  • Prepare monthly target-based plans for region/unit entrepreneurs and submit to the department head.
  • Ensure region/unit managers identify, screen and forward quality project proposals from novice entrepreneurs monthly to head office.
  • Provide effective onsite and offsite supervision to achieve program objectives.
  • Monitor monthly implementation and achievements, prepare reports and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Provide monthly progress reports to management outlining advances, declines and other operational issues.
  • Develop and implement methods to evaluate staff-, unit- and region-level activities for quality assurance.

This job circular invites professionals who will contribute to program expansion, quality control and active onsite/offsite supervision. Primary responsibilities The Executive will be responsible for planning, supervising and supporting program expansion at the unit and regional levels. Main responsibilities include: Conduct regular field visits to monitor operations, identify issues in units/regions and provide corrective guidance to ensure smooth program implementation. Build and maintain personal contact with novice entrepreneurs and unit-level staff to provide technical advice, mentorship and capacity building for quality project proposals. Prepare monthly unit/region-level plans linked to project/entrepreneur targets and submit these plans to the department head for review and approval. Ensure that region/unit managers identify, screen and forward quality monthly project proposals of novice entrepreneurs to the head office as per plan. Provide effective onsite and offsite supervision to help the program achieve its objectives and targets. Monitor monthly progress, evaluate achievement against targets, and implement corrective measures where necessary. Send monthly progress reports to the management team outlining achievements, downturns and key operational issues. Design and implement appropriate methods for staff- and unit-level performance evaluation to ensure program quality and impact. Required experience, education and skills Education: Masters degree (as specified in the circular). Experience: Minimum 5 years (5 to 10 years preferred) in Microcredit, Microenterprise, SME or related financial/social sectors. Age: 35 to 40 years (as per addition job requirements).
