Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive sales performance of RANGS eMART showrooms across multiple districts/zones.

Overview: As an Area Sales Manager for RANGS eMART, you will lead showroom operations across assigned territories, build and coach high-performing teams, and deliver sales & profitability targets. Key responsibilities (summary): Lead and drive sales performance of RANGS eMART showrooms across multiple districts/zones. Develop the capability of showroom teams and ensure strong leadership across all locations. Monitor daily showroom operations, supervise staff activities, and provide consolidated reports to the central team. Analyse sales trends, local market dynamics, and competitor activities to craft and execute strategic action plans. Identify and develop new business opportunities across retail and corporate segments. Ensure operational discipline, brand visibility, merchandising standards, and adherence to company policies. Plan and execute sales promotions, stock allocation, and showroom-level initiatives to meet monthly and quarterly targets. Detailed responsibilities: Set and achieve showroom and area sales targets; monitor KPIs and take corrective actions where necessary. Coach, mentor and develop showroom managers and sales staff to improve customer service and conversion rates. Oversee inventory management, visual merchandising, pricing alignment, and timely reporting across showrooms. Drive customer satisfaction and escalations processes; ensure service quality and after-sales support coordination. Prepare market feedback, competitor intelligence, and local business plans; collaborate with central teams to optimize assortment and promotions. Travel extensively across assigned markets for audits, training, and business expansion activities. Required skills and competencies: Proven showroom sales and people leadership skills; ability to motivate and coach diverse teams. Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable plans. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities. Experience in multi-location operations, showroom management, and customer service excellence. Capable of multitasking and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment. Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned territory. Experience & education: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, retail, FMCG, electronics/home appliances, or automobile sectors. Bachelor/Honors degree or equivalent education is required.
