Supervise production teams: allocate workforce, monitor daily performance, coach and train staff to maintain productivity and compliance. Maintain production machinery and premises; arrange preventive maintenance and repairs; ensure safety, cleanliness, and good housekeeping in production areas. Ensure cost-effective use of manpower, materials, and equipment; optimize production planning and resource allocation to reduce waste. Prepare accurate production reports, KPIs, and documentation required for internal management and regulatory inspections. Ensure adherence to occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations in the manufacturing area. Required qualifications and education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Production Engineering, or a related discipline (BSc). MBA in Operations/Industrial Management or equivalent is preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; typically 5 to 10 years in production management within pharmaceutical/medicine companies or chemical manufacturing is preferred. Proven experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, cGMP, and production planning. Skills & competencies: cGMP compliance and familiarity with regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Production planning and scheduling, equipment maintenance oversight, and strong operational discipline. Leadership and people management skills—ability to manage teams, train staff, and drive performance improvements. Strong coordination skills to work effectively with QA/QC, maintenance, warehouse, and supply chain teams. Analytical and reporting skills—able to prepare accurate production reports and interpret performance metrics. Problem-solving mindset and experience in minimizing deviations and improving process reliability.
