Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate sample and product development with design and artisan teams in Tangail to develop, track, and approve product samples (bamboo and textiles) according to buyer specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of materials, specifications, and costing.
- Process confirmed purchase orders (POs) and issue internal work orders to production units; maintain Time & Action (T&A) plans and ensure schedule adherence.
- Monitor production schedules, follow up proactively on progress, and communicate potential delays to the Merchandising Manager and sales team.
- Visit production sites regularly to monitor quality and ensure adherence to ethical sourcing and material standards.
- Coordinate final inspections and ensure products meet international buyer quality requirements.
- Prepare and manage merchandising documents including costing sheets, order tracking reports, and shipping paperwork.
- Maintain professional communication with international buyers and logistics partners.
