Job Responsibilities
- Conduct theoretical and practical classes in Mechanical Trade (welding, pipe fitting, etc.).
- Follow CS, CBLM, lesson plans and other training guidelines in class.
- Monitor student activity and progress.
- Prepare and review training programs and lesson plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluate training standards.
- Supervise maintenance of all tools and machineries used in training.
- Perform construction site supervision when required.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by management.

ARM Group (Bahsundhara Training & Testing Center) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Instructor to join our training team. Key responsibilities (what you will do): Conduct theoretical and practical classes in Mechanical Trade, including welding, pipe fitting, and related mechanical skills. Follow Competency Standards (CS), Competency-Based Learning Modules (CBLM), lesson plans and other established training guidelines in class delivery. Monitor student activity, progress and behavior during training sessions and practical workshops. Prepare, review and update training programs and lesson plans to meet current industry and certification requirements. Conduct assessments and evaluate training standards to ensure trainees meet competency benchmarks. Supervise maintenance and safe use of all tools, machines and training equipment. Perform site supervision related to construction and mechanical installations as required by the training programme. Undertake any other tasks assigned by management that support training delivery and organizational objectives. Required skills and qualifications: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical). Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (4 to 6 years preferred) in training institutes, hospitals, airlines, manpower recruitment or other relevant sectors. Teaching/training experience with a demonstrable record of effective instruction and classroom management. Recommended certifications: NSC in a Mechanical Trade, BNQF Level-2, and CBT&A Methodology Level-4 certification. Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to mentor and motivate trainees of diverse backgrounds. Physical and mental fitness to perform practical demonstrations and supervise workshop activities. Additional professional skills (preferred): Training of Trainers (TOT) experience and training facilitation skills. Experience with assessment, competency-based learning approaches and evaluation methods. Familiarity with safety standards, tool maintenance practices and workshop management.
