Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate worker–management meetings (Participation Committee, Safety Committee, etc.) and supervise committee activities.
- Lead the participation committee and conduct meetings as per legal requirements.
- Conduct regular counseling sessions for workers and provide guidance on company rules and labor regulations.
- Assist workers in applying for paid leave and explain leave policies.
- Carry out orientation programs and awareness sessions as per buyer and company requirements.
- Maintain effective grievance handling procedures; investigate and resolve worker complaints in a timely manner.
- Counsel aggrieved workers on wages, allowances, benefits and take steps for reconciliation between workers and owners.
- Coordinate maternity benefit processes and support pre/post-maternity workers with documentation and follow-up.
- Coordinate with medical officers and factory authorities to ensure adequate healthcare and medical support.
- Monitor maintenance of worker facilities including canteen, childcare center, toilets and safe drinking water.
