Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all project financial transactions and proper filing of vouchers.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring expenditures align with approved allocations.
  • Process payments, reimbursements, and disbursements in coordination with BRAC University’s central Finance and Accounts department.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for project management and donors.
  • Ensure compliance with donor regulations and organisational financial policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate with consortium partner to consolidate financial documents and data.
  • Ensure accurate merging of financial reports from both organisations for donor submissions.
  • Maintain clear communication and documentation to facilitate transparency and joint accountability.
  • Organise project field visits, including transportation, accommodation, and allowances.
  • Coordinate procurement and delivery of project-related materials and supplies.
  • Maintain records of logistics and ensure smooth execution of project events, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Assist project staff with planning and implementation of activities in the field, ensuring financial and logistical aspects are managed effectively.
  • Liaise with vendors, consultants, and service providers regarding financial and logistical matters.

Job Description

Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ) at BRAC University invites applications for a Finance Officer to support the PAHELA (Peace and Harmony Enhancement through Learning and Assessment) project. This is a project-based contractual position located in Dhaka, bangladesh. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial management, donor-compliant reporting, and smooth logistical support for field activities.
