Job Responsibilities
- Communicate with foreign manufacturers and negotiate for price and cost-benefit.
- Analyze consumption vs stock vs market demand and plan procurement.
- Conduct supply chain analysis and coordinate requirements with Planning Department.
- Analyze lead time based on global transit scenarios and ensure timely shipment.
- Ensure smooth supply chain management and team coordination with accounts, finance and inventory teams.
- Monthly reporting and team management.
- Follow up customs clearance and verify tariff, VAT, tax and other customs duties as required.
- Follow-up duty, delivery fund and avoid extra port charges & penalty to clear shipments on time.

Position: Manager / Deputy Manager - Supply Chain Management (Foreign Import) with primary responsibility for international supplier negotiation, customs and C&F coordination, and end-to-end import logistics. Key responsibilities (summary): Communicate with new foreign manufacturers and negotiate pricing and cost-benefit terms. Analyze consumption vs stock vs market demand and drive procurement planning. Conduct supply chain analysis and coordinate with planning, accounts, finance and inventory teams. Manage lead times by monitoring global transit scenarios and ensure timely shipments. Oversee customs clearance processes; verify tariffs, VAT, taxes, customs and excise duties as required. Monitor and follow up duty, delivery funds to avoid extra port charges and penalties; liaise with freight forwarders and C&F agents. Review C&F bills and freight forwarder invoices, and ensure payments are made according to cash flow plans. Prepare monthly reports and manage the SCM team performance and coordination. Assess and implement best practices for minimizing import costs including tariff, duty and VAT optimization where lawful and applicable. Coordinate cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, inventory) to align supply plans and cash flow management. Develop contingency plans for transit disruptions and proactively communicate lead-time changes to relevant stakeholders. Review and approve freight and C&F invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Required education and experience: Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Business Management (MBM) or Master of Commerce (MCom) — as per the company requirement listed in the circular.
