Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Finance or related field. Recognized partial professional certificate in accounting such as ACCA/CA preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee management of base cash and bank accounts; follow-up transfers and check balances.
- Supervise safes and cash management, ensure security and reconcile balances.
- Assess monthly cash-flow for projects and communicate cash requests to BDO.
- Manage money transfers and define payment procedures (bank transfer, cheque, cash, etc.).
- Supervise accountancy procedures: filing, allocation of expenses, vouchers registration.
- Communicate monthly accounts to coordination and respect SAGA procedures and deadlines.
- Manage monthly accountancy closing and closing pack transmission to BDO.
- Manage presentation, circulation, filing and archiving of accounting and financial documents.
- Support budget follow-up: update CCP (allocation table) and update PM/Log base.
- Verify contracts for compliance with Tdh policy and supervise follow-up.
- Analyze gaps between planned budgets and actual expenses and anticipate financial risks.
- Collaborate on donor procedures and report preparation; contribute to new project budgets.
- Participate in assessment and financial setup of local implementing partners and conduct partner verifications.
- Provide training and capacity building to finance and non-finance staff; supervise selected finance team members.
- Provide backup support to finance team in the absence of FA/FO as assigned.
