Job Responsibilities
- Conduct factory inspections according to RSC guidelines and SOPs.
- Perform testing & commissioning verification inspections for fire protection and fire alarm systems.
- Provide engineering support to inspection programs and training initiatives.
- Produce inspection reports and design review comments following RSC protocols.
- Develop maintenance plans, inspection procedures and preventive maintenance programs for factories.
- Support remediation plan finalization and follow-up to ensure timely execution.
- Review and provide technically correct feedback on fire protection system designs and passive fire protection documentation.
- Coordinate scheduling and execution with contracted inspection companies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed data, reports and case files for assigned factories.
- Liaise with OSH remediation teams, complaint handlers and the Case Handling Team for verification and monitoring.

OverviewThe RMG Sustainability Council (RSC) is hiring a Fire & Life Safety Engineer to join its Fire Safety department based in Dhaka. As a Fire & Life Safety Engineer, you will support the company’s mission by conducting inspections, preparing technical reports, and advising on remediation.
